What you can look forward to on the sportsfront this weekend

POLOKWANE – Those with no plans for the weekend need not worry as there is something to look forward to.

Cricket fans can watch the epic One Day International (ODI) clash between the Proteas and Bangladesh tomorrow (Friday) at 08:00. The Wimbledon women’s tennis finals will be played on Saturday, while the men’s tennis finals will be played on Sunday.

On Saturday, the annual Winter’s Trophy will be in full throttle at the Polokwane oval track at 16:00. If running along scenic views is your thing, make sure not to miss the Iron Crown Trail run in Haenertsburg on Saturday at 06:00. The race includes a 21,1km race, a 10km race and a 5km fun run.
