12 new bloods to strengthen Leopards
BLACK Leopards has signed 12 new bloods to strengthen the team in its mission to return back to the Premier Soccer League (PSL) at the end of the 2015/16 season.

LIMPOPO – BLACK Leopards has signed 12 new bloods to strengthen the team in its mission to return back to the Premier Soccer League (PSL) at the end of the 2015/16 season. Eleven of these new bloods, namely Maxwell Molala, Thabo Mokgalushi, Hlahatsi Mojalefa, Caiphus Mashiane, Sikhurodi Nkoana, Norman Mbedzi, Katlego Molomo, Themba Mavuyangwa, Thembi Nevhulamba, Mahlatse Moloto, Lucky Masutha are local players, with the 12th new player, Mziwakuthula Zimu, coming from KwaZulu Natal.
Express visited Lidoda Duvha’s camp in Polokwane and found them hard at training. Striker Thembi Nevhulamba is expected to replace the team’s attacking midfielder, Roggert Nyundu, who says he is desperate to make a move away.
He was on loan at Black Leopards last season, where he notched up 13 league goals and it was widely expected that he would make a move to the PSL. Black Leopards spokesperson, Barry Ramunenyiwa, says the new coach, Major David Bright, doesn’t need more changes. “All our new faces are players under the age of 23 years, in line with the PSL rule that states that National First Division teams must start all their league matches with at least five u/23 players every week.
We have offloaded about six older players.
We want to see Lidoda Duvha marching to the PSL without going for play-offs,” Ramunenyiwa said.
