Matsatsantsa a Pitori’s last game in Limpopo was against Orlando Pirates in the second week of August when their match was officially abandoned due to a technical error with the stadium floodlights.

The lights went out 17 minutes into the second half, and the two sets of players returned to their respective dressing rooms. The remaining minutes of the match was finished on the following day where United won 1-0 over the Sea Robbers.

Meanwhile Amakhosi’s last match at the Peter Mokaba Stadium was between them and Polokwane City FC when they played to a 1-1 draw.

Three weeks ago, Matsatsantsa signed a two-year contract with Bafana Bafana midfielder, Dean Furman, and he is expected to boost his team in the middle of the park. Furman started his youth career with the English Premier League (EPL) giants’ Chelsea before moving to Rangers. The 27-year-old Cape Town-born star also played for Oldham United and Don Caster Rovers.
