SLC honours top sport performers
Stanford Lake College (SLC) awarded its learners for their hard work and dedication during a prize-giving ceremony held on Friday, 11 March.
POLOKWANE -Some learners received half colours while other were awarded full colours.
Lia Revelas received full colours for her performance during various athletics meetings. She was named the best junior track athlete at the Ben Vorster Night Race, as well as junior Victrix Ludorum for the Independent Schools Athletics meeting and the Small Schools Athletics meeting.
Ruben Caroto received full colours for his outstanding performance in athletics. He was crowned junior Victor Ludorum at the Small Schools Athletics meeting.
Mfumo Mongwe was awarded full colours for being the best senior track athlete and senior Victor Ludorum at the Ben Vorster Night Race.
Lia, Ruben and Mfumo qualified for the Athletics South Africa (ASA) national championship that will take place during the school holidays in Germiston.
