1st Limpopo Rhino Trial XCO cycle race results
Local cyclists put their pedalling skills to the test during the first Limpopo Rhino Trial XCO race held at the Polokwane Game Reserve on Saturday.The day’s results are as follows:
POLOKWANE – Local cyclists put their pedalling skills to the test during the first Limpopo Rhino Trial XCO race held at the Polokwane Game Reserve on Saturday.
The challenge, hosted by Polokwane Pedallers Cycling Club (PPCC), saw cyclists competing for Limpopo trial XCO medals in various age groups.
According to club member, Ronél Delport, this was the Limpopo XCO qualifier event.
“We are happy with the outcomes of the event. About 72 cyclists competed and we are hoping to cater for more athletes next year,” said Ronél Delport, a club member.
She went on to say that the event will be on the cycling calendar next year to attract as many cyclists as possible. She added that cyclists from various schools participated in the event.
Delport congratulated the winners of the challenge and encouraged all the cyclists to continue training hard to stay on top of their game.
