POLOKWANE – The Koningskinders Golf Day saw golfers open their hearts and take to the fairway in support of this charity for less privileged children.Teams tested their mettle on the greens of the Polokwane Golf Club in a fourball alliance two scores to count.
Results of the day:
Team Johan van Ravesteyn claimed the win after accumulating 107 points.
Team BB Polokwane Ford in second place with 106 points.
Team Northern Forklifts occupied the third position with 105 points.
Team Hannes Swanepoel claimed the fourth place with 104 points.
Morné Myburg received two prizes for his golfing prowess after he played the longest drive at hole seven and nearest to the pin at hole 11.
Danie le Roux claimed the bragging rights of playing the longest drive at hole 18 and Jacques de Jager played nearest to the pin at hole 16.
