Make sure not to miss this pool expo on Saturday
The Blackball Pool National Championships will be held in Bloemfontein from 6 to 10 July, where u/18 pool players will show of their talents
POLOKWANE – The Limpopo Blackball Pool Association will send five players to compete at the championships.
The team is made up of Werner Viljoen, Japie Wenzel and Nikhita Mahne from Hoërskool Pietersburg (PHS) and Calvin Vorster and Ruan Joubert from Tom Naudé Technical High School.
Their coach, Naas Vorster believes that as this is not the first time the players compete at the championships, they will perform well.
Vorster urges residents to support them at the pool expo at Savannah Mall on Saturday, 2 July.
The expo will be hosted by the Limpopo Blackball Federation in collaboration with the National Blackball Federation and United Pool Tables.
“We would like the city to see that they can participate in pool as a sport, especially younger players,” says Vorster.
