Golfers show what they’re made of at Club Golf Day
A total of 82 golfers competed in the Polokwane Golf Club Club Golf Day tournament last week.
POLOKWANE – The Club Golf Day took place at the Polokwane Golf Club on Wednesday, 22 June and saw the golfers test their skills in an individual bonus bogey format tournament.
Jan Nel had an excellent day on the greens taking first place with a score of plus seven.
Craig Young came in at a close second with a score of plus five on a count-in and Willie Viljoen earned his spot in the top three with a score of plus five on a count-out.
The nearest to the pin on hole eight was played by Sous Greyvenstein and on hole 11 by Koeksie Eagar.
The jackpot was also drawn at a total of 1 730 units with no winner yet at a payable amount of 1 380 units.
