Golfers put(t) their skills to the test
The excitement and sportsmanship was tangible on the greens of the Polokwane Golf Club during this month's Club Golf Day as golfers took to the fairway to claim the laurels last Wednesday.
POLOKWANE – The win was scooped by Kobus Marnewick after he accumulated 40 points.
Craig Hawken finished in second place with 39 points on a count-in and Attie Buitendag in third place with 39 points on a count-out.
Nearest to the pin on hole eight was played by Charlie Smith and the nearest to the pin on hole 11 was played by Eduan Kotze.
The match was played in an idividual stableford format and a total of 66 players took competed for the prizes on the fairway.
