TaylorMade tourney action
TaylorMade is a popular brand of premium high quality golfing equipment, so it was no surprise that the TaylorMade Golf Day provided for a day of premium golfing action on the greens of the Polokwane Golf Club.
POLOKWANE – The tournament was played in a betterball stableford format on Saturday and 129 golfers took to the fairway to vie for the top three spots.
Julias Mapatha and Matsobane Tleane won the tournament with 51 points, with Chris Binneman and Dirk Botha hot on their heels with 48 points. Jacky Papola and Thomas Mnguni claimed the third position with 47 points on a count-in.
The nearest to the pin on hole four was played by Jacky Papola. Keith Badenhorst played nearest to the pin at hole eight. Nearest to the pin at hole 11 was played by Mpho Makado and hole 16 by Patrick Cahil.
The longest drive on hole seven was played by Marietjie Smit and on hole 18 by Tristan Schwim.
