Baroka thump Kaizer Chiefs in Fame Charity Cup final
Thousands of soccer fans watched soccer greats Kaizer Chiefs, Baroka, Magesi, and Black Leopards live in the Fame Charity Cup which took place at the Peter Mokaba Sport Complex on Saturday.
POLOKWANE – Kaizer Chiefs played against Baroka in the finals after Amakhozi beat Magesi FC 2-0 and Baroka defeated Black Leopards 1-0 in the semi-finals.
Baroka beat the Soweto Giants 3-0.
Fame Charity Cup’s Chief Executive Officer, Matodzi Makananisa, the money collected from the Computicket will be distributed to charity organisations and help to fund student bursaries. With this we want to help others chase their dreams.”
The F.A.M.E Charity Cup
The F.A.M.E Charity Cup was organised with the aim of raising funds for charity organisations and bursaries for students in need of financial support. According to F.A.M.E Chairperson, Matodzi Makananisa, they aim to educate and train people so they can have a better tomorrow.
He said: “F.A.M.E is about improving Limpopo and we need everyone to work together to make the province prosperous. We want to eradicate illiteracy by assisting less privileged students who want to further their studies in arts and culture”.initiatives take shape in the province.
