LIMPOPO – The Absa Premiership action returns next week Tuesday when Polokwane City travel to the Orlando Stadium in Soweto. They face the Buccaneers who are currently level on points with Rise on Shine on the log. Pirates’ club chairman, Dr. Irvin Khoza has backed their coach, Rhulani Mokwena, to at least see out the season after a dismal season thus far. Kick-off is at 19:30 and the match will be broadcasted live on SuperSport 4.

Polokwane City’s last game in the PSL was a 1-0 defeat in the Limpopo-derby against Baroka FC. City would like to get their season back on track when they travel to Soweto. Rise and Shine are still without a permanent coach after they parted ways with Zlatko Krmpotic, who was the six coach to be sacked in the PSL this season. Review understand that coach Bernard Molekwa will oversee the game if a coach is not appointed before then.

The other two Limpopo teams will return to PSL action on Wednesday, 27 November. Baroka host Golden Arrows at the Peter Mokaba Sports Complex, kick-off is at 19:30. Baroka fans are still buzzing after their team grabbed the bragging rights and (more importantly) three points in the match against City. They will hope to build on that victory with another three points at home against Arrows. Arrows will arguably be the favourites going into the match but the Baroka team are a difficult team to beat. Another thing which counts in the favour of the hosts is the fact that Arrows will have less time than Baroka to rest, as they face Mamelodi Sundowns in a Telkom Knockout semifinal only four days prior to the PSL encounter.

Black Leopards will face Chippa United away from home at the same time. Leopards’ last game was a 2-1 victory over Cape Town City at the Thohoyandou Stadium and they currently occupy the 11th spot on the log after 10 games played. Chippa are in the relegation zone currently as they sit at rock bottom on the log, however their last game was a 2-0 victory away from home against AmaZulu. What seems an easy three points away from home might just prove to be a little more trickier than expected.
