Medals aplenty for Limpopo

The South African Air Rifle Federation (SAARA) Limpopo held their sixth and last league match of the year last Saturday at Moulder Luggeweer Akademie.

POLOKWANE – A few of the shooters were unable to take part in the match as they tested positive for Covid-19 and had to isolate.

Coach Gene Moulder says he was happy with the conduct of the shooters and their achievements. “Even if we were not operating at full capacity, we got very good results.”

He says one of the shooters who did extremely well is Migael Moulder, who shot a full row (he shot 50 out of 50 in the prone position for u/12).

Another shooter who excelled in the match was Hanré Willemse who shot 200 out of 200 in the prone position for the u/20 precision discipline.

Moulder says Saara Limpopo will host the Limpopo Open on August 27 and 28.

At this prestigious event, which will be held at Bosveld Jagtersvereeniging, shooters from Gauteng, Free State, Western Province and North West will participate.
