Local hockey coach scores chairperson role

POLOKWANE – Moretsele will be deputised by Molatelo Mahapa and Pat Semomo. He says their core objective in the next five years is to catapult regional sport to greater heights.

“We want to see athletes from the region doing well and the district produce athletes who can compete nationally and internationally. We also want to encourage other federations to become members of the confederation and ensure all the sporting codes are sustained in the Capricorn District.”

He also adds that they want to strengthen the relationship with the locals and district municipality. “We are also going to focus on school sport which is the biggest affiliate. The attention needs to be given to competitive schools and junior club leagues because that is where talent identification is needed.”
