Give 67 minutes at Polokwane parkrun

Celebrate Mandela Day by volunteering 67 minutes at Polokwane parkrun this Saturday. Help make the 5km possible for all.

POLOKWANE – At any parkrun, there are three types of people: the walkers, the runners and the volunteers. Without the volunteers, the walkers and runners will not be able to complete the 5km.

To celebrate Mandela Day, which falls on July 18, parkruns across South Africa remind readers of the words Madiba said, ‘It is in your hands.’

Each year, South Africans dedicate 67 minutes of their time to serving others.

At parkrun, you can give your 67 minutes by volunteering at the run on Saturday morning. There are several opportunities to help out, such as marshalling, barcode scanning, or handing out finish tokens.

Join Polokwane parkrun this Saturday at 08:00 across from Tom Naudé and give your 67 minutes.
