Bosveld Bowls Tournament draws 78 players to Polokwane Bowls Club
The Bosveld Bowls Tournament drew 78 players to Polokwane for a weekend of sport community spirit and fundraising for youth and club development.
POLOKWANE – The Bosveld Bowls Tournament, one of Limpopo’s largest and most anticipated bowls events, took centre stage over the weekend at the Polokwane Bowls Club.
The tournament welcomed 78 players across 26 teams from Limpopo and Gauteng for two days of competitive fun and camaraderie.
The event also served as a fundraiser in support of the club’s development goals. “It was a celebration of connection, teamwork and the love of the sport,” said spokesperson Annerita Blignaut.
“The proceeds will go towards junior and youth development, community outreach and exciting upgrades at the clubhouse.”
Blignaut expressed thanks to all supporters, with special mention to Westvaal, Spar Flora Park, Limpopo Fresh Produce Market, MPD Polokwane Spares, Lasher, First Technology, Madea and Alpha Sand for their contributions.
