Firebox Fitness hosts King and Queen of the Bushveld at The Ranch Resort
The Ranch Resort hosted the two-day King and Queen of the Bushveld fitness event, drawing athletes from SA and abroad.
POLOKWANE – The Ranch Resort saw the two-day King and Queen of the Bushveld fitness competition event last Friday and Saturday hosted by Firebox Fitness, with teams of two consisting of one man and one woman each.
Sponsored by RealNet Polokwane, the team-based functional fitness challenge event was divided into the categories elite, intermediate, masters 40+ and beginner categories.
On day one, all athletes registered, were briefed about the events and started with the first events of the day. On day two, the events continued, competing inside the hall and outside in the arena.
The athletes, representing their provinces, with some teams coming from overseas, took part in jumping big heavy battle rope, lifting and running with heavy wheelbarrows with weightlifts, and more fitness challenges inside the hall and outside in the arena, with their family and friends watching and cheering from a distance.
