Rugby time as Mitchell House opens its field

Mitchell House officially opened their rugby field for the rugby season by inviting Oosskool and Capricorn High School for a match on Wednesday.

POLOKWANE – Mitchell House officially opened their rugby field for the rugby season by inviting Oosskool and Capricorn High School for a match on Wednesday.

The deputy president of the Limpopo Blue Bulls Rugby Union, Charles van Wyk was also invited to the match, where he gave words of encouragement to the players.

“It is an honour for the Limpopo Blue Bulls to support a school like Mitchell House. We congratulate them,” said Van Wyk. He declared the rugby field open by handing over rugby balls to Mitchell House and Capricorn rugby captains.

The bulletjies played a friendly match against Oosskool, while Mitchell House’s first team played against Capricorn.

“We are privileged to have Van Wyk with us. I thank all those who came to support us,” said Andrew Cook, Mitchell House headmaster.
