MH tennis players at African Championships
Mitchell House tennis players tested their skills against Africa's top juniors at the u/16 African Junior Team Championships in Polokwane.
POLOKWANE – The Mitchell House College tennis team recently took to the courts at the u/16 African Junior Team Championships, hosted at the Polokwane Tennis Club, for a week of high-level competition and valuable learning.
The prestigious tournament brought together some of the continent’s top junior players, all competing for coveted spots at the Junior Davis Cup and Junior Billie Jean King Cup Finals.

A big moment for Limpopo tennis
Hosting the u/16 African Junior Team Championships at the Polokwane Tennis Club was also a big moment for local tennis. The competition gave Limpopo learners and young players the chance to watch top African talent up close and dream bigger for their own tennis journeys.
School congratulates team
Mitchell House director of physical education, Mituxa Lopes, congratulated the team for representing the school with pride, commitment and a strong work ethic throughout the championships.
