Pemps were the victors of the day when they hosted Laerskool Piet Hugo last Thursday in Limpopo Primary Schools Football Association League matches.
POLOKWANE – Pemps were the victors of the day when they hosted Laerskool Piet Hugo last Thursday in Limpopo Primary Schools Football Association League matches.
Pemps u/11 beat Piet Hugo 4-0, while the u/13 team beat Piet Hugo 5-2.
Sixteen schools compete in the league for a floating trophy, which is now in Pemps’ possession. According to Mabine Mametja, Pemps sport coordinator, the league was categorised into two divisions, A-division and B-division.
“The divisions are formed to give the schools a chance to compete against each other before the league ends,” said Mametja. He said they were happy with their victory and hoped to defend the title well and be crowned as champions once again.
He said learners were committed to the sport and most of them were talented.
