7 schools’ athletes vie for the top spot
Athletes from seven schools in and around Polokwane battled it out on the track and field at an athletics meeting, hosted by Hoërskool Pietersburg (PHS).
POLOKWANE – Athletes from seven schools in and around Polokwane battled it out on the track and field at an athletics meeting, hosted by Hoërskool Pietersburg (PHS).
The friendly warm-up meeting took place at the Peter Mokaba Stadium last Friday afternoon.
Athletes from Hoërskool Ben Vorster, PHS A and B teams, Curro Heuwelkruin, Mitchell House College, Curro Northern Academy, Tom Naudé Technical High School and Westenburg Secondary School competed at this meeting.
The overall results were:
1. PHS A team with 708 points.
2. Hoërskool Ben Vorster with 445 points.
3. Tom Naudé Technical High School with 257 points.
4. Curro Heuwelkruin with 247 points.
5. PHS B team with 221 points.
6. Mitchell House College with 131 points.
7. Curro Northern Academy with 130 pints.
8. Westenburg Secondary School with 25 points.
