Piet Hugo hosts its first hockey day

POLOKWANE – Piet Hugo, along with another 10 schools from across the province participated in a friendly hockey tournament on the PHS hockey fields on Saturday.

PHS Hockey Manager, Liza Semet, along with coaches Jannie van Dyk and Jodine Bothma organised the tournament.

The day saw Piet Hugo’s very first hockey teams face off against other teams for the first time to earn valuable experience in the sport.

“The day was definitely a huge success and we aim to make it a yearly event in the future so that schools can enjoy some friendly competition,” said Semet.
