Theo Goosen Estate Agents & Auctioneers: Meet Kruger de Beer

A farmer’s heart in the property market

Since entering the real estate industry in 2021, Kruger has carved out a niche in a highly specialised agricultural property field. Working primarily in Marble Hall and Groblersdal, he focuses on farms, and combines his property expertise with a practical understanding of farming life.

What sets him apart? He has a natural connection with the farming community, he can relate to farmers on their level – speaking their language, understanding their challenges, and appreciating the long-term value of land, beyond simple transactions.

Trust, he believes, comes down to: A solid grasp of agricultural property and to help clients feel confident and supported throughout the process.

Outside of work, his passion reflects a love for the outdoors. He describes himself as “crazy about trees,” with a love for gardening, landscaping, and building projects. Afternoons often include checking in on ongoing improvements, while free time is happily spent in the Kruger National Park with his family.

The most meaningful advice he has received came from a message by the late Pastor Yonggi Cho: to make the Holy Spirit a senior partner in life. This perspective continues to guide his personal and professional outlook.

For him, Polokwane and Limpopo offer an unmatched lifestyle.  It is a place defined by opportunity, warm-hearted people, wide open Bushveld, abundant sunshine, and a culture where something as simple as lighting a braai requires no permission.

Over the years, he has encountered his fair share of unusual requests, including one buyer who hoped to structure a deposit payment over a remarkable 20-year period.

When it comes to his dream home, he feels that he already has what matters most: air conditioning in the summer, a warm fireplace in for the winter, and a big ‘stoep’ around his farmhouse, complete with solid wooden floors and a space for family and friends to relax.

As for choosing between beach, bush, or braai, the answer comes with a smile: beach first, because “happy wife, happy life” — followed closely by the timeless pleasures of the bush and a good braai.
