Crowning beauties at glamorous event

This year's Face of Savannah was crowned at Savannah Mall last Saturday, with more than a 100 spectators cheering the contestants on.

POLOKWANE – This year’s Face of Savannah was crowned at Savannah Mall last Saturday, with more than a 100 spectators cheering the contestants on.

The pageant had six different categories: three to five-year-olds, six to eight-year-olds, nine to 11-year-olds, 12 to 14-year-olds, 15 to 17-year-olds and 18 to 23-year-olds.

Each contestant dressed according to their own style which reflected their personalities best.

The audience was entertained by dancers from Dance Art Studio.

Martina Pretorius, the event organiser thanked the management of Savannah Mall, especially Karen Botha and her team.

“Polokwane can be very proud of Savannah Mall, which has a team working towards the upliftment of young people of Limpopo,” Pretorius said.

The prizes, estimated to the value of R60 000, consisted of crowns, sashes, certificates, watches, jewellery, bags, nail treatments, photo shoots, make-up, designer clothes, hair products, sun glasses, hair dryers, straightners, foot spa’s, facial treatments, body lazer treatments and toys.
