Each non-profit sector has its own colour sticker that can be bought for Tekkie Day.

POLOKWANE – It is time for Tekkie Tax again, the fundraiser where you get to wear your tekkies to work in return for a donation.

This year, National Tekkie Tax Day takes place on Friday, May 29.

Apart from buying a sticker, participants can also buy shoelaces in funky purple and green. Lace your tekkies up with them and show you care. Organisations that will benefit from this fundraiser include animals, basic family care, children, disability and education organisations.

You buy the sticker of the company that you would like to support and stickers cost R10 each, or a sticker with shoelaces cost R30.
