Lucky draw winner drives off in a brand new bakkie

Six residents' lives changed last Sunday when they won prizes in the Motor Millions Promotion at Sun Meropa.

Peter Davids is excited and can't wait to drive the new Ford Ranger he won at Sun Meropa. POLOKWANE – Six residents’ lives changed last Sunday when they won prizes in the Motor Millions Promotion at Sun Meropa.

The first prize was a Ford Ranger and other prizes included cash prizes.

Zulu traditional dancers provided the entertainment.

At 15:00 in the afternoon, people started to gather around the Ford waiting to hear who the lucky winner was. Zulu dancers provided entertainment while everyone waited.

Then it was time for the finalists to be announced. They were: Moloko Selepe, Elsie Kruger, Willie van Zyk, Maredi Mphahlele, Peter Davids and Ntsuma Ncha. Each had to choose a letter of the word Meropa. At the count of three each had to take off the magnet concealing the prize.

The lucky winner was Peter Davids who said he was very happy.

“I really needed a new bakkie.

“I am very happy, it is not everyday someone wins something so big.”
