On Friday the Castle Lite Sundowner and Family Braai will take place at the Polokwane Golf Club at 11:30.
On Saturday there is a golf day at the University of Limpopo. This event is held to raise funds for three local hockey players to join a tour to Ireland. The event will be a better ball scramble golf challenge. For further information contact Wynand van Beek at 083 265 1118. There is also some golf action at the Specsavers Golf Challenge taking place at the Polokwane Golf Club.
Later on Saturday the focus shifts to school rugby as the quarter final of the Beeld Trophy will be played on the fields of Hoërskool Pietersburg, make sure you see the teams battle it out for this prestigious trophy.
On Monday there will be a social golf event at the Polokwane Golf Club for those who just want to enjoy a day of fun.
For those who prefer to enjoy sport in the comfort of their own homes, Super Sport on DStv will offer more than enough entertainment for the sports enthusiasts.
On Friday at 15:15 the ABSA Currie Cup Premier Division Round 1 will take place, you can see the Orc Griquas take on the DHL Western Province.
The ABSA Currie Cup will continue at 17:45 with the Steval Pumas and the Cell C Sharks clash.
There is some exciting cricket action when the fourth test of the Ashes continues as England and Australia battle it out in day two of the test.
The Netball World Cup will be broadcasted at 06:40 when South Africa takes on Malawi. At 11:45 the South African u/18 rugby team will face off against the u/18 Italian team in the Schools Championship.
On Saturday the action continues as the Castle Lager Rugby World Championship takes place. At 11:30 the Australian team will take on the New Zealand team and at 16:15 our South African team will battle it out against the Argentina team in an epic clash.
The Absa Currie Cup will continue at 14:10 when the Toyota Free State Cheetahs take on the Vodacom Blue Bulls.
At 11:00 the Ashes cricket test will continue for day three of the test.
Get ready for some soccer action on Saturday as the Barclays Premiership League Match day 1 will take place. At 13:00 the Manchester United team will go against Tottenham Hotspur, and at 15:45 the AFC Bournemouth will take on the Aston Villa team. At 18:00 Chelsea will battle it out against Swansea City.
At 14:30 the Super Diski Absa Premiership soccer where Polokwane City takes on Bloemfontein Celtic at 14:30, the soccer action will continue at 19:30 as the Platinum Stars take on the Mamelodi Sundowns.
