SESHEGO – GOSPEL music lovers can look forward to welcome the new season in style with the spring gospel music festival on 5 September at Jesus Glad International Church Seshego Branch (JGICSB) in Seshego Zone 6.
Katlego Modiba, director at Katlego Modiba Gospel Music (KMGM), which aims to keep the youth involved with the music industry, says the festival will create a unity among artists, making them come together and work as one. He adds this will assist young artists to showcase their talent and get exposure in the music industry.
“Through this initiative, I want to take young talented artists away from the streets and bring them into the music industry. I realised that our province has talent, all we need to do is assist and lead them in the right direction,” he explains. “The festival will also serve the purpose to bring a new style of enjoying the season with locals rather than spending their times at taverns, hotels or engaging in criminal activities.”
He says that gospel lovers should keep their tickets as they will have a chance to walk away with t-shirts and CD hampers on the day of the festival.
The festival will feature artists like City Modiba, Joe Molele, Tebogo Sekhukhune, Daisy, Terrence Moloto, Moziri group, Mams Molepo, Monicca, Maribula, Caro, Kelebogile and JGTIC worship team, among others.
Tickets are available at any Jesus Glad Tidings International Church branch and will also be available at the gate on the festival day for R30. For more information, feel free to call 0721563627.
