DJ heads into The Future
The well-known Malamulele musician, Theodorah Ndobe, popularly known as DJ Theo D, has released his first 10-track album, The Future.

LIMPOPO – According to him the album has a variety of song styles which will extend its lifetime, making it relevant in the future as well.
“We titled this album The Future because we know that even in years to come it will still be relavant.
“We mixed the genres of pop, afro-soul, house and rhumba because we are Africans and we wanted to play songs that will talk to us as Africans,” he said.
His album includes songs like Ndziku kumile, choose mai khethele, and moya awupfumeli.
DJ Theo D described the album’s sound as South African music that it is full of talent from different cultures and tribes.
He also thanked his artists and fans for their continued support as well as their inspirational messages which keep him motivated.
“To my fans, thanks so much for the support you give me, especially those who have been with me since day one when I started my musical journey.”
DJ Theo-D started singing at an early age at Sunday school as well as singing at Epp Mhinga Secondary School.
He was born in Mtititi village outside Malamulele.
During his music journey he has shared stage with DJ Shimza, Black Coffee, Limpopo Roots and Hlamalani guitar queen.
His producer, Hlayisani Maluleke, popularly known as Hlayi Bengar, has described him as simple to work with and a dedicated artist.
“DJ Theo D loves his music and he always shows commitment.
“He is one of the business talents we have in South Africa,” he said.
