POLOKWANE – Streaming services such as Showmax and Netflix have made it possible to watch your favourite series or movies on demand, whenever you want to.

This however makes it even more difficult to decide between the magnitude of options available – that’s where we come in.

What to Watch this week on:

Showmax:

Series: Ramy Season 2

First generation Egyptian-American millennial, Ramy finds himself in suburban New Jersey grappling with how to be a good Muslim in the Tinder era.

Movie: After

Armed with grand ambitions for her future, Tessa’s guarded world opens up when she meets the dark and mysterious Hardin Scott, who makes her question all she thought she knew about herself and what she wants out of life. 

For the kids: Endlings Season 1

A family sci-fi drama series which follows a foster family on their missions to protect the extraterrestrial beings and endangered creatures the four teens discover, 20 years into the future.

Netflix:

Series:  Ratched Season 1

Ratched is set during the late 1940s at an asylum where a nurse, Mildred, just landed a job at an institution that’s conducting experiments on the human mind.

Movie: The Devil All the Time

Tom Holland stars in this American psychological thriller film based on the novel of the same name by Donald Ray Pollock.

For the kids: The Smurfs 2 

Gargamel kidnaps Smurfette after he finds out that she knows a secret spell that can turn Naughties, Smurf-like creatures, into real Smurfs. The Smurfs set out to rescue her.
