Be Happy, says young trendsetter

The young, talented Elekanyani Madima is making a name for himself in both the fashion and entertainment industry.

POLOKWANE – Besides his clothing brand Real Element, Madima, composed his debut Afro house single track, Be Happy, with Randy de deep, featuring Rofhiwa Nesamvuni.

As a 17-year-old he started working as a DJ at Univen FM while still at high school. He also recently launched his own clothing line, Real Element, in 2019. “I am currently studying clothing production at the TVET College with my brand being sold directly to clients on the street.”

The single, Be Happy, comes at a time when the world is facing the pandemic and I believe it will give hope to those who have lost loved ones. I do what I love with passion and focus on my goal,” said Madima.

He said his goal is simply to make good music. “Life is precious. In whatever we do we must show responsibility for the next generation to learn something from us. With Real Element I do not necessarily sell fashion, I sell inspiration. I want to open my own fashion store, be my own boss, and help to create jobs,” he said.
