This however makes it even more difficult to decide between the magnitude of options available – that’s where we come in.

What to Watch this week on:

Showmax: Series: PEN15 Season 2

PEN15 is an R-rated traumedy set in middle school as it really happened in the year 2000. Real-life 30-somethings Anna Konkle and Maya Erskine play versions of themselves as 13-year-old outcasts, surrounded by actual 13-year-olds.

Movie: Waves

Waves is a critically acclaimed drama that traces the journey of a suburban family – led by a well-intentioned but domineering father – as they navigate love, forgiveness, and coming together in the aftermath of loss.

For the kids: Book Hungry Bears Season 1

Four bears named Crystal, Boomer Melody and Scout explore their paper craft world in search of a good book to read.

Netflix: Series: Inside The World’s Toughest Prisons Season 5

Renowned journalist Raphael Rowe visits and endures the toughest conditions in prisons around the world.

Movie: Outside the Wire 

In the near future, a drone pilot sent into a war zone finds himself paired up with a top-secret android officer on a mission to stop a nuclear attack.

For the kids: Mowgli: Legend of the Jungle

An orphaned boy raised by animals in the jungle seizes his destiny while confronting a dangerous enemy – and his own human origins.
