POLOKWANE – Streaming services such as Showmax and Netflix have made it possible to watch your favourite series or movies on demand, whenever you want to.

This however makes it even more difficult to decide between the magnitude of options available – that’s where we come in.

Showmax:

Series: Rick and Morty in The Eternal Nightmare Machine

To keep fans going until the rollout of the new season, a Rick and Morty special, Rick and Morty In The Eternal Nightmare Machine, will launch on the Adult Swim corner on Showmax on Saturday, 1 May.

Movie: Dark Waters

Triple Oscar nominee Mark Ruffalo stars as corporate defence attorney Rob Bilott, who takes on an environmental lawsuit against an unscrupulous chemicals company in the modern-day Erin Brockovich story Dark Waters.

For the kids: Scooby-Doo: Spooky Island

Everyone’s favourite mystery-solving pup heads off on an exciting adventure. The Mystery Inc gang are summoned to an enigmatic island, where things aren’t quite as they seem.

Netflix:

Series: Pet Stars Season 1

Follow talent management company Pets on Q as they work with the biggest animal influencers on social media in this reality series.

Movie: Enter the Dragon

Recruited by a British agent, Shaolin master Lee infiltrates a remote island and a brutal martial arts tournament to spy on a sinister crime lord.

For the kids: Aliens Stole My Body

The Galactic Patrol is on the hunt for Deputy Rod Allbright’s body. Now they must team up with old and new friends to stop the body-snatching fiend.
