POLOKWANE – Streaming services such as Showmax and Netflix have made it possible to watch your favourite series or movies on demand, whenever you want to.

This however makes it even more difficult to decide between the magnitude of options available – that’s where we come in.

Review has put together a list of shows you should stream on your favourite platform.

What to Watch this week on:

Showmax:

Series: A Confession Season 1

A Confession is based on the true story of Detective Superintendent Steve Fulcher’s investigation into the 2011 murder of 22-year-old Sian O’Callaghan, and the lengths he went to in order to catch her killer.

Movie: The Goldfinch

The Goldfinch is the film adaptation of Donna Tartt’s bestselling, Pulitzer-winning novel about a 13-year-old boy whose mother is killed in a bombing at the Metropolitan Museum of Art.

For the kids: Captain Underpants: The First Epic Movie 

Kevin Hart lends his voice to this colourful superhero animation. Two imaginative pranksters hypnotise their principal into believing that he’s a ridiculous crime fighter.

Netflix:

Series: StartUp 

An attempt to launder stolen money finances a cryptocurrency that puts entrepreneurs in business with a corrupt FBI agent and a Miami gang.

Movie: Monster 

A talented teen implicated in a robbery-turned-murder fights for his innocence and integrity against a criminal justice system that’s already judged him.

For the kids: Trash Truck

Six-year old Hank and his best pal, a giant trash truck, explore the world around them on fantastical adventures with their animal friends.
