Learners take parents on a trip around world

The Junior Phase learners of Pietersburg English Medium Primary School (Pemps) treated their parents to a trip around the world during a concert themed ‘Countries on our trip around the world’ recently.
Ursula Hermann, head of the Foundation Phase indicated that the concert entailed an imaginary aeroplane manned by learners which flew parents to places such as America, Holland, China, Hawaii, Italy and Australia. She said while the parents were thoroughly entertained the learners also had loads of fun wearing their colourful costumes and showing off their talent.
Herman said it took them well over a month to prepare and expressed her thanks to everyone who assisted to ensure its success.
