KINROSS – Housebreaking is still a big problem in Kinross.
There was another housebreaking in Waterberry Street at about 2pm on Wednesday, 22 April.
The owners of the house were both at work when it happened.
A security company received a panic button call and immediately went to the house.
The neighbour said she saw a white Audi with four people inside.
The burglars took a plasma television and it looks like they were disturbed by the alarm system.
Sgt Kennedy Botha from the Kinross Police Station confirmed that a case of housebreaking was opened and no one is arrested so far.
W/O Gerhard Elmes, acting station commander, said housebreaking is a serious problem and warned residents to be alert and to report suspicious people and vehicles.
He further encouraged residents to begin neighbourhood watch forums.
