BETHAL – Sgt Daniel Selukga and Const Indresen Govender from Bethal Police Crime Prevention followed up on a tip off about three men involved in stolen things.
“We received information that they walked with a laptop in a plastic bag,” said Const Govender.
The officers stopped and questioned the men, who failed to give the police answers about the property.
When the police checked the plastic bag, they found a black HP laptop inside.
“We had to be quick, because they tried to run.”
The two officers arrested the men for being in possession of suspected stolen property.
“We appreciate and thank the community for their commitment towards fighting crime.
“This shows they want everyone to live in a safer and crime-free society,” said Const Thomas Mogadime, communications officer.
