A fixed water pipe began leaking again in Sydney de Lange Street, opposite the Stanwest Hall, on 23 July.
According to Mr Mohammed Solomon the pipe was leaking for several months before the Lekwa Municipality repaired it.
“There was a slight leak for months before the repairs,” he said.
According to Mr Solomon a hole was dug and new piping was installed, but when the water was switched on again the outlet to his house began to leak worse than before.
“Everyone in the street has water apart from me and I have contacted the municipality and ward councillors, but to no avail,” he also said.
The water could be seen flowing through a field next to his house and down the street towards town.
He has even dug a trench to try and deviate the water from flowing to his garden and house.
