Department brings services to the people
This national insurance’s main objective is to bridge the gap between private and public health care
The Stanwest Hall was buzzing on Friday 31 July when the Gert Sibande Department of Health, in partnership with the Lekwa Local Aids Council, held a National Health Insurance (NHI) community dialogue.
The dialogue was aimed at reporting to Lekwa residents on how far the district is in implementing the NHI policies.
It was also to get input on how the department can improve the implementation.
Gert Sibande is one of the pilot districts of the NHI.
The main objective is to bridge the gap between private and pu

blic health care.
