SACP marches against abuse
They gathered at the Stanwest Hall and marched to the Sakhile Police Station to hand over the memorandum with their demands.
The South African Communist Party (SACP) embarked on 2 October on a peaceful march with the Sakhile residents against the killing of police officers on duty, women and child abuse and substance abuse.

Lt-Col Emmanuel Mbatha, station commander of Sakhile Police, accepted the memorandum.
The SACP and the community requested a response within 14 days.
