Messrs Jabulani Ngubeni, Mokete Selepe, Dumisani Nkonde, Nicholas Selepe, Mpumelelo Kubheka and Madoda Sigasa of the Civic Voice.

A new political party, Civic Voice, that will be contesting the 2016 local elections, has been registered.

Messrs Nicholas Selepe and Dumisani Nkonde are the driving force behind the party that will be represented in all 15 wards within the Lekwa Municipality.

They are well-known South African National Civic Organisation (Sanco) members.

They were in the forefront of all the community marches that Sanco embarked on.

According to them, the party aims to safeguard the rights of residents and advance local development such as business opportunities, employment opportunities and corporate social investment.
