Stop-and-go operators want their money

The employees now work for Dreykon because Moloi Trading's contract with Dreykon Clus Civils, the main contractor, has come to an end

A group of frustrated stop-and-go operators alleged that Moloi Trading still owes them money.

Moloi Trading is a sub-contractor on the construction of the R39 Road between Standerton and Ermelo.

They employed 49 local people as stop-and-go operators.

The employees now work for Dreykon because Moloi Trading’s contract with Dreykon Clus Civils, the main contractor, has come to an end.

According to them, Moloi Trading still owes them money, because they were not paid for some working days.

“The salaries that we received each month are less than the days we spent on site, working,” an employee said.
