EVANDER – The police found the body of a man in a field behind the number 7 Shaft hostel near Evander on Friday, 10 August.
The man had apparently been shot twice in the head and in his legs.
According to Sgt Sibusiso Mbuli, spokesperson for Evander Police, the murder appears to be linked to attacks among Lesotho nationals.
“The police received information about a shooting the previous night. We found the body when we went to investigate,” explained Sgt Mbuli.
A case of murder was opened.
