
eMBALENHLE – Two teenage girls who were rescued from an alleged brothel were taken back home again after they had escaped from the taxi that was transporting them.
The girls were rescued on Friday, 17 August by concerned residents who heard they were involved in criminal activities.
Police organised transport with Vukanini Taxi Association to take the girls home, but they allegedly escaped from the taxi half way home and returned to the alleged brothel.
Residents saw the girls and informed the police.
Police rescued them again and they were taken home by officers.
