Chief Albert Luthuli Municipal officials, along with several other stakeholders recently assisted Sassa beneficiaries in a joint operation.
They assisted by ensuring beneficiaries adhered with social distancing as well as other regulations as stipulated in the Disaster Management Act.
This also included the wear of face masks at all times.
Other stakeholders included law enforcement from the Traffic Department, police as well as the South African National Defence Force.
