HIGHVELD – During Covid-19 the counting of the number of people who has Covid-19; who recovered from Covid-19 or who died from Covid-19 is counted daily, however, these numbers are based on the current physical impact of Covid-19.
But have we considered counting the number of people who experience emotional and psychological distress during the Covid-19?
Have you considered counting your number as one of the people who are struggling with the impact of Covid-19 on your emotional well-being?
How do I know if I struggle emotionally? Here are a few symptoms that may indicate an intervention needed on your emotional count:
• Feelings of hopelessness or helplessness
• Feelings of depression or lack of getting out of bed
• Recurring negative thoughts and thoughts of self harm
• Decrease of interest in any activities or routine daily tasks
