Camden Avenue in Ermelo a death trap for residents and motorists alike

“The cement was not even dry yet when another accident occurred.”

Camden Avenue is a death trap for motorists and residents that live nearby.

According to Ms Rhoda Kirsten, a resident from the area, numerous accidents take place here frequently.

“A motorist recently crashed their vehicle through our wall and we had to rebuild.

“The cement was not even dry yet when another accident occurred.”

Ms Kirsten said, a few years ago 400 residents that live nearby signed a petition in order for the municipality to construct a speed bump, but to no avail.

According to her, there were two small potholes in front of her house which ironically helped to slow down motorists.
