Shereen Dindar lives each day with a zest for life

She said: “I am ready to crack my glass ceiling, since the sky is the limit, or is it?”

Ms Shereen Dindar is a multi-talented woman with a burning fire in her to live life to the fullest.

Ms Dindar was born in Vereeninging and grew in Lenasia and the Dolphin Coast in Durban resides in Breyten and empowers individuals on a global scale.

She was the second eldest from four siblings.

Ms Dindar said: “I had an amazing childhood, carefree and fun.

“I fondly remember riding my bike and riding horses with my brother on the farm.

“We used to play treasure hunt in the garden and eat peaches from the trees.”

Her dad used to take her to the Carlton Centre in Johannesburg to get her hair cut and to ice skate on Saturdays afterwards they would go to the Roadhouse in Hillbrow for ice cream and milkshakes.

Thereafter, their family moved to Durban which was a dream come true for Ms Dindar.

She said: “My dad taught me to be strong spirited.

“He always said that I should remember that I am one of the ‘Last Mohicans’ what he meant was for me to be proud of my strong spirit and never allow anyone to break my spirit.”

Her school years taught her to learn valuable life lessons from her teachers who inspired her with their values of discipline, ethics, leadership accountability and accountability.

Her advice to the next generation is: “Believe in yourself and never give up on your dreams even if you fail to achieve them at first, they will eventually be realized because you never gave up!”

Ms Dindar’s first job was a legal assistant but now she is ‘smart working’ online.

“I facilitate Business Communications for an International company, to business professionals all across Europe and Asia.

It was her dream to work as an education specialist and business communications officer, on an online platform.

“I made it happen for myself during this Lockdown.”

As this opportunity came her way, she was so grateful and finally felt that she had reached a new height in her career.

She said: “I am ready to crack my glass ceiling, since the sky is the limit, or is it?”

“I do not think I would ever want to stop improving myself in all areas of life, it is what keeps me going and giving me a zest of life!”

When the Highvelder asked Ms Dindar: “What role do your beliefs play in your life today?”, she responded that she is proud to be Muslim and since Islam is a way of life and means total submission to the will of God for her that sums up who she is as a servant of her Lord.

“I believe in being grateful for what is, as is; submitting to the will of God.”
