Ligbron learners part of top 100 applicants at Wits University

The top 100 applicants are selected based on their admission point score (APS) calculated from their gr 11 results.

Three learners from Ligbron Academy for Technology recently received a special package from the University of the Witwatersrand for being part of the top 100 applicants.

Due to Covid-19 the university was unable to host their annual physical vise chancellor’s top 100 applicants event, and decided to send each applicant a package.

The top 100 applicants are selected based on their admission point score (APS) calculated from their Grade 11 results.

The package is intended to motivate the learners and wish them well for the final exams.

It contained a cap with the university logo on it, a face mask, wireless earphones, water bottle and a 16GB USB with personalized message from the Vice Chancellor, prof. Adam Habib.

Crisitan Izquierdo Ortega, Ammaarah Arbee and Hannah Peer from Ligbron each received a package.

Cristian is going to study medicine (MBChB), Ammaarah must still decide between medicine and dentistry and Hannah wants to study Accounting Science (CA).
