The Robokids Robotics Club in Secunda, walked away as the best club in South Africa in the Explorer Lite category at the national Robotics Championship.
This championship took place on September, 16 in Johannesburg and the owner of the club, Jillian August, said she is proud of her students.
It was the first time that students from the robotics club in Secunda, competed at this level and all three teams who entered, did well.
With robotics, children get the chance to incorporate science, technology, education and robotics to develop their creativity and problem-solving skills through challenging and educational robotics competitions.
